Moxies Argentia Restaurant

Upon entry, no one was at the front and when someone finally came, no friendly greeting was offered. I was given attitude when I asked for a booster for child and was initially told they may not have one. We eventually got one. The treatment was as if our presence was an annoyance. When ordering, I explained to the server that I had an allergy. She told me she understood but her behavior and attitude about it told me otherwise. Firstly, I asked for gluten-free options and although she did go back to the kitchen to ask questions, she returned with little information. I asked for my order not to be spicy due to acid reflux disease. Instead, extra jalapeños where added to the dish. When I brought it her attention, she smiled and nodded. Didn't offer any solution, alternative or even apology and charged for the meal. Normally at restaurants when I indicate my allergies, the manager comes out to speak to me for clarification. No one came to speak to me. I've been to this restaurant many times, this was truly disappointing.

Great place, and very comfortable. Good food, decent service and very quick and good response when they brought the wrong dish out. Really great service and I'd definitely go back there again. The gluten free options are also decent, especially for those in my group with celiac. Great work for being aware of that and having the capacity in your restaurant to cater to those needs. One suggestion to make the place feel more welcoming is at the door, there is a cheap camera that is very in your face. I'd choose a better location for it in the lobby so that the first impression if the restaurant isn't "we're watching you". I think it'll make a difference to some people when there's a line and you have to wait a few minutes for a table.
