We had a lovely experience at Mr Broadway. Our server, Menkhu, was very helpful and knowledgeable. We had some questions about gluten free options and she was able to answer them confidently. The food was delicious, authentic, and strictly kosher. We were all thrilled with our dishes and would especially recommend the kneidlach/matzoh balls in chicken soup. The owners were very kind and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

FoodMeet rates on 4 categories: Food, Service, Atmosphere and Price. 5 Stars across the board. I was very impressed with the gluten-free option. I never was able to do gluten-free deli sandwich or gluten-free sub before, so I was very happy with that. The waiter was very good, because they really got all my needs of Russian dressing, pickles and coleslaw, napkins. Whatever I needed they were very attentive to and accommodating so I like that. I had a good conversation with the hostess or maitre d, I told them I'm pro gluten-free, and nobody else has that really in a deli. Mr Broadway they took over Ben's Deli and they did a good job. You can get great food, from deli sandwich 🄪 to steaks 🄩 and sushi šŸ£ at a great price, and good service, and good atmosphere and kosher too!

Ok; AC was broken the day we dined. Fans were blasting but it felt a little 1940’s. You may actually like that… The maitre’d , if you call her that, was chatting at a table instead of checking on service. Our food was served without dressings mustard etc. and it was hard to get anyone’s attention. We had asked for a mashed potato substitution but the server was not our waiter and we did not get it until Buttonholing another waiter. We asked for a WiFi password but it never came. No one came after food serving to ask how things were which would have addressed many issues. Gluten free rolls and things like matzo balls and kreplach are costly extras. I like the food, appreciate the high Kashruth standard, and have eaten at Mr. Broadway for decades but the items I noted need to be addressed. Addendum: I have increased the overall rating to four stars. The items I out lined stand, and the detail stars for my visit are the same. The response posted by Mr. Broadway was incisive and very welcome. As stated I have eaten there for many years; I am confident that issues will be addressed and it will be continue to be a premier Kosher eating destination.
