Delicious lunch today, with one gluten-free diner. Excellent service and extremely friendly staff. Great value for money! Would definitely recommend.

We went here for Breakfast, this was the only place open for breakfast we found that took dogs in the middle of January. The food was fine for what it was, which is good simple Breakfast food. Nothing fancy. Our surprise came when we asked for the bill. We weren't given the bill, just a card machine and told our bill was £37.80 for 2 small cappuccinos, eggs on toast, an Breakfast consisting of 1 slice of toast, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 sausages (comes with one, but the extra one was £3.00) 3 cherry tomatoes beans and 2 eggs. After asking for the reciept after, we were charged an additional £1.00 for each small coffee having oat milk, advertised as 60p on the menu, and £1 for gluten free toast, i can't remember the last time we have paid extra to have to have gluten free toast especially when 2 eggs on toast was already £7.00. The kicker, a 'discretionary' service charge which was £4.20. It's not discretionary when you aren't shown the bill or given and option to add/remove it yourself. We are a country that has proper employment laws and minimum wage, so if want and additional 12.5% on a breakfast bill, just taking an order and bring out food doesn't warrant this. This isn't location either, having had a much better quality lunch, with 2 pints in the middle of Stow later that day for £34. It's seems to be purely taking advantage of the fact most visitors are wealthy and from overseas and unlikely to question it.
