The venue itself is so lovely, and the staff are wonderful, but the food let us down. My partner and I attended a function and specified that we are vegan. It started off promising with our own little antipasto plates. When the next round of food came out, we got our own pasta plates, but it was literally penne with a below average sugo, and a piece of unseasoned eggplant as an after thought on top. So very bland. The rest of the guests enjoyed several rounds of food there after, and we received nothing. We did get a dessert though, a scoop of coconut ice-cream with Strawberries, so that was nice. Italian is one of the easiest things to do vegan, so this whole dining experience was a cop out. That pasta sauce- I hope it came from a jar because if it was made in house, it was the least authentic flavour I've ever had. A friend of ours also attended and requested coeliac dietary consideration, and received equally as disappointing good with no mains. May come back sometime because I've heard good things. Not from vegans though.
