Muller's Famous Fried Cheese Cafe

This spot was recommended by one of the other businesses as a gluten free friendly option in town and they were right! A well marked menu gave me lots of options and everything looked so good! Our only complaint would be not the appetite to eat everything on the menu. The patio seating was perfect on a beautiful day, and pet friendly. Savannah took care of us and was friendly and the perfect blend of attentive but not overwhelming. She was thorough in checking on allergens for me. Prices were reasonable for a touristy area and we left with full bellies and a happy experience.

Loved this place! I loved that they had gluten free options with a dedicated fryer and knowledgeable friendly staff. Food was great. I’d return next time I’m in Helen!

Absolutely amazing food with great gluten-free options! It's really hard finding celiac-safe gluten free food while traveling, but Muller's was amazing. Most of their menu can be made gluten-free on request (anything marked with a star on the menu) and they use a separate fryer for GF food and fries. I did not have a reaction after eating there :) I had the gluten free Kaese Schnitzel with fries and a fried cheese kebab appetizer. The schnitzel was DELICIOUS and the fries were also great, topped with fresh parsley. I don't normally like saurkraut, but theirs was amazing. Our server was awesome and very helpful too. They do upcharge $2 for gluten free orders, but it's understandable, and tbh it was totally worth it. They also do a veterans discount, which is always appreciated.
