We recently had a pleasant lunch buffet experience at Mumbai Masala Grill in Ottawa. The restaurant was clean and easy to find, with good service. We were particularly happy with the selection of gluten-free options available on the buffet. While the overall food quality was average, some dishes stood out. The butter chicken was flavorful, and the vegetarian options were satisfying. The highlight of the buffet was definitely the tandoor chicken, which was delicious. However, it would be helpful if they replenished the tandoor chicken tray more frequently to avoid running out. The naan bread was a nice touch, brought fresh and hot to the table. Overall, Mumbai Masala Grill offers a good lunch buffet option, especially for those seeking gluten-free Indian cuisine. While some dishes may be average, the highlights and attentive service make it worth a visit.

Seems like it might be more of a lunch buffet spot, but we went for dinner and ordered from the regular menu. Everything was super delicious and the server was very attentive and helpful when asking about dietary needs. Highly recommend ! My favourite was the eggplant bharta :) there are many vegan and gluten free options as well
