My new favorite Madison restaurant, a fantastic place for sushi and sake. Can’t wait to go back! My wife is gluten free and they had lots of options and were very attentive about it - even had GF soy sauce. They take it seriously

Most important: the staff are so patient, friendly, and amazing with gluten allergies and severe shellfish allergies. If shellfish is even slightly near a piece of fish you want they will let you know, and give you other suggestions if you ask. Secondly: the blue mackerel sashimi is literally the best thing I have ever had. I had a carry out order, but if I was there I would have ordered 20 more. The only con is that I have been trying to get my hands on the fatty tuna sashimi forever and it’s always sold out. I suppose it speaks to how great of a piece of fish it likely is. I will always recommend this place. I have been many times before, and I will continue to go. Bonus: they give me no shame every time time I go in and need a fork. Chopsticks are my mortal enemy
