We came during dinner on a Saturday evening. It was very busy, truthfully. I was surprised at the freshness of our food regardless of how busy it was. The vegetarian menu was full of choices and basically anything you ordered could be made vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free. The staff was nice, but busy. Each time a waitress would ask if we were ok, she would be trying to prematurely walk away as if to say, oh please don't ask for anything else. Thank God for that boy coming to our rescue. Nice, thin, guy with black hair and beard trimmed neatly. The chicken souvlaki was to die for! It was very tender, very flavorful and my husband ordered 2 more! The hummus, good flavor but really cold. The falafel, definitely left something to be desired. The pastitio with bechamel was to die for! Big salad! And awesome balsamic vinegarette! The grape leaves (domades) were canned so don't waste your money. Tzatiki was good. Spanakopita was ok, but not like mine at home. Gyro meat was good and tender with thorough seasonings . Parking was easy to access for handicap but could definitely be a problem for someone without a handicap placard, especially during rush hours. The environment was excellent. The bathrooms were decent and had tissue as well as being cleaned. The business owner definitely has a lot of restaurant experience and knows how to utilize his help and resources. The 2 young ladies that I mentioned had little personality to begin with. I know... you say, "You didn't go to be treated like a queen.." my answer to you? No. You're right . I didn't. Queens get high treatment because they are queens. I paid over $90 for 4 people, so I deserved to be have my plates moved from the middle of the table before the end of our meal. Anyway, I still gave it 5 stars because everything else was so great. The food, parking, menu, freshness, taste, cleanliness, and most of the staff. I tipped the young man separate and left the other girls a tip to split. They helped each other out tremendously, though. Therefore, taking a star away was not an option for me. It was a great eating experience and I enjoyed our trip to Greensboro. We plan to come back when back in the area. We hope that the 2 ladies (blonde and strawberry blonde) will grow up a little bit and remember that we are paying customers. We do not ask for free meals. Therefore, courtesy without being rushed should be a bare minimal matter to grant to the customer.
Don't hesitate to stop and eat here. Absolutely amazing!!
