I Had my year 12 formal here and stated on my dietary requirements sheet that I needed gluten free food as I was celiac, they agreed to make my meal gluten free. An hour later I spent my whole formal night In hospital, not to mention the waste of $1000 that was spent on the dress, makeup, hair etc. The compensation we received was minimal and the service was rude and stingy with the amount of compensation we thought was appropriate (a night in their hotel and a free meal for all involved in taking care of me on the night). Would not recommend attending this place as the management is rude and the kitchen staff obviously negligent with the dietary requirements. Would not even give them one star

Went there for a 70th birthday which was catered for 100 poeple. We had a 3 couse meal and myself requiring gluten free this was no issue. The food was excellent, the service terrific amd the view over Newcastle beach magnificent.
