NORTHSIDE espresso + kitchen

While I do appreciate the quality of the food and gluten free options, I have to say the service is really lacking. Waited an hour for avocado on toast which like, doesn’t even require cooking. After taking forever to serve our food, staff rushed us to pay and leave asap. I was informed by the waitress that “we have a wait list” while she was pacing back and forth in front of our table to really lay the pressure on. The whole thing was almost funny.

I searched for top-rated breakfast restaurants in Kingston and Northside was one of them. Google reviews never fail! From the outside Northside is very understated but on the inside it is bright, welcoming and vibrant. Service was impeccable. The food was amazing - the plates had a special touch. They elevate the plain Benny and make it gluten free with a crispy hashbrown instead of the traditional English muffin. It was such an enjoyable meal.

We always have a great brunch at Northside, the aesthetic is bright and clean, the food is delicious & they are able to accommodate allergies, vegan and gluten free diets. Kori was our server and she was very friendly and attentive!
