NSCG Whistle Stop Cafe

Normally don’t write reviews but due to the severity of the situation I figure it be better to warn others. I ordered a gluten free pancake with my meal as I have a very serious allergy to gluten. The food runner first gave us someone else’s food. When the correct food was dropped off I started eating and enjoying my meal. Then he came back after more than half of the pancake was already gone - that he dropped off the wrong one and I was eating a regular gluten filled pancake. The server was very nice and took my meal off and the manager told me to call the restaurant if I had any further issues. At that point the deed was done and I am now suffering from the food runners careless mistake. If you have food allergies I wouldn’t suggest this place as they have options but seems the staff is not trained on how to handle them safely. If I go back I will not be doing any gf options to be safe.

What a cozy diner! Fabulous food and loads of gluten free options. Missy was so friendly, too!
