Our server, Nathan was one of the most attentive, kindest, and informative people we have met in a very long time. I have Celiac and he went and spoke to the chef 3 times to make sure I could have certain foods. His assistant, Ken's work was excellent, as well.

Last night was my fourth time dining at this restaurant. This time was to celebrate my birthday. I had a party of 3 reservation for 8pm. We arrived at 7:45pm to check in. Was told we would be seated closer to our reservation time which was totally understandable. When 8pm hit, I went back up to the hostess stand and asked them if we would be seated soon and they said yes. This was after seeing droves of others being seated while we waited awkwardly in the reception area. We weren’t seated until 8:15 and weren’t given any explanation, let alone an apology. We sat at the table for several minutes until we were finally met with what I’m assuming was an expeditor or some other person that wasn’t our server. He brought us water. We didn’t actually meet our server until about 10 minutes after being seated which was disappointing. We ordered a couple lychee martinis, which were delicious. We also ordered some gluten free bread seeing as one in our party has celiac’s disease. The server said she would return in 10 minutes with bread for her to enjoy. She didn’t receive any bread until we finally received our dinner which was about half an hour later. During this half hour of waiting on our food, we were never checked on or looked after. When we finally did receive our food, we were able to order a couple more drinks. The level of service we received and lack of attention to detail was very frustrating and disappointing. The whole reason we came on a weeknight was to avoid the mayhem of weekend dining. We had traveled over an hour to enjoy dinner, and had an hour drive home to discuss how awful the service was. I was actually embarrassed to have suggested and recommended this place to several others over the past year seeing how far the bar has fallen in regard to service. We weren’t able to leave until around 10:15pm because we had to sit and wait awkwardly for the check to finally arrive. The food and drink were wonderful, but the service was horrendous.

Had very high hope for this place, considering we were told to go here by friends in the business. Portions are big - over the top. Not too expensive compared to other steakhouses. Drinks were good. Now for the not so good. It’s in a (smoky) casino - had not considered that before making the trek. But that aside, we sat at the bar…and sat…and sat…. A Tuesday night so it wasn’t busy. But for 10 minutes, none of the three bartenders even greeted us. A “hello, welcome, we’ll be right with you” would’ve been great. There was another bartender - Taylor - who showed up and she was lovely and attentive. The male bartenders should have just gone home. When asked if a meal was ok for certain allergen restrictions, one of the male bartenders said he didn’t know. He was advised by a server to call the kitchen. He didn’t. When asked again, he walked away. Taylor to the rescue. She called the kitchen immediately after asking if the dish we already received (bacon that came with cornbread), was gluten free. It wasn’t - and we avoided a disasterous evening. Too many great options in the area to consider going back.
