Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings - Cherry Hill

This was our first time at this restaurant. Had been thinking of trying this place for a couple of years now. It was worth the wait! Our group of five had rice cakes, dumplings, fried rice, and various noodle dishes. It was all great. The one thing we did not try is the soup dumplings, which are dumplings that contain soup on the inside. There are also a handful of gluten free dishes, if you need that. The service was excellent and the staff also uses rolling robots to deliver food. The reason I gave my review 4 stars is because there is no unsweetened iced tea, only sweetened. Also, no coffee either. By the way, if you use a credit card you are paying an extra 5%, which means if you use cash you can deduct 5% from the bottom line. Also, do not place your credit card under the check holder that your bill arrives in. It uses magnets in the clasp which may erase the data on your magnetic stripe.

Reasonable prices. Four happiness sponge salad (basically gluten and mushrooms) and cucumbers with garlic are really good. Scallion pancakes with beef was the thickest scallion pancakes I've had before. A little weird but good nonetheless. There's some robot waiter thing but it's just a gimmick. Not really useful as it sends out a single plate at a time, followed by a waiter anyway. Just kind of slows down the walkway. The facility is really nice looking, clean and modern looking. A bit sad they charge for hot tea, but times are different now. It is what it is. Xiaolongbaos okay. I'm not really a fan of the black truffle or luffa or whatnot. I'm used to just pork, so they're a little weird to me. There aren't really any places around that sell them so I'm glad there're here. I've been meaning to try hot soy milk and crispy dough, but I can't justify coming here, sitting down and getting the classic Taiwanese take out breakfast when there's xiaolongbao here too.
