Nando's Birmingham - Bullring

Went to the restaurant thinking they would have gluten free options. They had to call manager to take my order which was fine. However the only option for me was plain chicken and this is what I got last time I went there was an option for a salad on side or no side one side or two it’s changed completely. Once our orders came the lady who served it made it publicly known it was an allergen chicken which made me feel alienated my partner was appalled by this and now has stated we won’t be going again. It’s not hard to get gluten free bread or pita and a place like that should have these options. Please consider this as it’s not a choice to be gluten free especially for me so my favourite place has now been ditched because the company is out of touch.

Went to this branch first time, on Saturday afternoon, had to wait about 15 minutes for a table for 2. Could not get network so could not order via the qr code so had to order at the till and pay cash. Part of the order was gluten free options, was told grills would be cleaned so no cross contamination etc.. Our food didn't come until 35 minutes later and was the wrong order. Another 15 minutes our food finally came! I asked server who happened to be the manager, what's taken so long, for a Nandos, 45 minutes wait it's not right. His excuse was confusion at the grill, told him not a great impression as first time here, he said we could have a free dessert to make for this! Really!! Could of even discount of service and customer value meant anything! Also what's gluten free on desserts? Just the gelado, no thanks. I will not be going to that branch again and will not recommend it either.
