Nando's Cardiff - Mermaid Quay

AWFUL! Didn’t even eat in the customer service is disgusting. Tuesday 11th October me and my dad went for food before seeing a show. Took 15mins+ for someone to come and speak to us (bare in mind there was only 4 people dining).. we were greeted by a female member of staff who clearly thought speaking to us was such effort. We asked if there was a Gluten Free option, as my dad is celiac. The staff member said yes but would get the manager to come and speak to us, we sat down and started looking at the menu. The staff member spoke to the manager, the manager looked at us and that was it. We sat there for another 15 minutes while no one came to speak to us. No one acknowledge us. The manager walked passed our table a number of times and avoided eye contact each time. I was getting annoyed now so I googled if Nando’s did gluten free options to find a statement on the Nando’s website saying they didn’t… we then left as we were leaving we walked past the manager and they, once again, avoided eye contact (SHOCK)! All that needed to happen was the staff member and/or manager just needed to come and talk to us, apologise that they didn’t have any GF option and we’d have been fine but to be told yes, then seated and then ignored us down right rude. Absolutely disgusting customer experience. AVOID!!

I have never been to a Nando's before. I think I have been missing out. 4 of us went and I really loved the food. They had been before so knew what to expect. I particularly liked the fact that its nearly all gluten free.
