We are regular visitors to Nando’s back home in the UK and so it was great to see a restaurant in the States too. As ever, the food was great and was good value for money as well, with plenty of options for those needing gluten-free food. The only negative was being expected to tip for service (at the point of ordering and paying for food), even though there is no table service and so you order your food at the checkout and obtain your own cutlery and sauces. I appreciate the tipping culture is different in the USA, but in the UK there is never an expectation to tip at Nando’s (even though tipping is commonplace at other restaurants).
