The food here is good and Celiac friendly. However I a bad experience with my waiter who thought for some reason it would be funny to joke that my food in fact wasn't gluten free after I'd already started eating it, and then just sort of laughed and walked away before I could verify if he was kidding. Seeing as a Celiac reaction would have sent me to the ER for the night I didn't find it funny at all and was extremely anxious and had to waive him back over to confirm that he was joking before continuing to eat. Not funny. Never joke about that. For what we were paying to eat there that was kind of unacceptable. We still tipped 20%

My daughter took me here for my birthday as a special treat. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, delicious wine selection. Food was NOT at all as expected and very disappointing. We called ahead about gluten free options but none were indicated on the menu, so we had to ask the server and turned out there was only one type of gluten free pasta available. It was fortunate that it was linguini style pasta because that is the dish I wanted, but it was very bland sauce despite the seafood, and the pasta was overcooked and sticky. It was like an Italian Pad Thai and that's being gracious. I'm not even sure what I will do with the leftovers I brought home. I would be more forgiving were it an average restaurant but it's not, according to the prices. Tab was over $200 for 2 people, including tip.
