I went here for a friends birthday afternoon tea. I had sent a message on Instagram about 2weeka before asking about gluten free and dairy free foods to which I had no reply so my friend had to sort it out. However she only understood about gluten free the food had dairy so I had to be careful with what I ate. I have added pictures of both normal and gluten free option. I am disappointed as it wasn't very tasty and I had to pay full price for food lacking in taste, presentation and amount compared to full. Also I could only have an English tea as they couldn't make any Indian tea due to the milk. If you have allergies I would avoid which is sad as the atmosphere and decor is beautiful! They are missing a trick here.

Well I am the one who seldom eats out as I find all the resturants almost the same with no extraordinary taste. So I went to this place as someone recommended it. The interior is nice floral pink that reminded me of EL&N at Knightsbridge. We didnot have a prior booking but still was able to get a table as we were early. The staff was nice and friendly. You have a choice of halal, vegetarian and even gluten free. We ordered a plate of Chana Bhatura that was £8.95. Egg bhurji with plain paratha and a kids breakfast with halal options. The Bhaturas were nice and crisp but Chana was just OK. I ordered a glass of sweet lassi that costed me £3.99 and to me it was slightly overpriced. The karak chai was good. The plain parathas for me was a disappointment as it didnot taste like it was freshly handmade. It didnot have any oil or butter and seemed like a cooked frozen chapaati. For me a good eating place is where I clean my plate and no leftovers but here I spent £33 on a breakfast that for me was average and I had a leftover chana that I didnot even want to take home and 1 whole paratha. But again this is all my opinion. Seeing how busy this place was getting in front of us either people are used to eating average food or they want to avoid cooking at home.
