I previously drove the public transit bus from Fenwick to Welland and from day 1 My wife fell in love with Nature Corner bakery and cafe. Frequently she would call ahead order me a coffee and herself one with almond milk. As she has many food intolerances she loved this place for their gluten free bread and gluten free carrot muffins. She would always order either gluten free toast or a gluten free carrot muffin. During Covid a lot changed as it did everywhere my bus route was cancelled . We live approx 20 minutes away and we would order from them 1x a week for most of the Pandemic. Once things began to ease the company I drove for gave me another job which did not take me past this little gem. My wife however loves it. In the past 9 months seems like not just a few however many have discovered this little gem which we are thrilled for them. They still continue to make the gluten free bread but seems like they have reduced the amount of gluten free carrot muffins that they make. It seems it doesn't matter whether it is 9 am, 12:30 pm or 2 pm they always seem to be out of these particular muffins, however they seem to have their banana chocolate chip gluten free or apple cinnamon gluten free muffins which my wife cannot have either of them. They tell her to either get the ones they have frozen or offer one of the others which she cannot have. We order them when we would like to have a fresh one to eat at that time not frozen one. What has gone wrong here? It is sad as they seem to always have enough of the other 2 not the carrot ones I understand supply and demand but this seems really strange.
