I have been to this place with a group of people including many children. The place is quite cold (after a request the owner has access to the path) but nice. The location is excellent in the center of Cortona. The menu is not exciting but it offers an excellent gluten-free offer (even a separate menu) and this earns it 4 stars

The food in this restaurant is really good and in addition they pay a very commenable attention to gluten-free requirements. Of particular note, they have a separate menu listing the gluten-free dishes. This is so much better than simply marking the dishes on the same menu, no mistake can be made. Also, the waiting staff are really friendly and helpful. There was a choice of 3 different gluten-free pastas, Mains were tasty, the slow cooked beef cheeks deserve a spacial mention. The chef came out to speak with us and then she offrred to make a special gluten-free desert of apple in pastry parcels with butterscotch sauce, absolutely delicious. Great winelist too.
