New Dynasty Restaurant

I recently went to New Dynasty because I had such wonderful memories of eating there years ago. I had also read that they offered some gluten-free choices, so I was hopeful. There are gluten-free options, but I found the selection somewhat limited. To order gluten-free, you need to choose from the main menu, as there weren’t any gluten-free options available on the lunch menu. I ended up ordering the hot pot chicken curry with steamed rice. The curry had a nice flavour, although the sauce was quite gloopy, as though a lot of cornstarch had been used, and unfortunately, the chicken was very tough and had a somewhat unusual taste. My husband was also quite disappointed with his meal. On the positive side, the portions were large, and I had plenty of leftovers. Thankfully, I did not get sick after eating there. Overall, I’d give New Dynasty about 3 out of 5 for the food. It’s good to know that gluten-free choices are available, but I would have liked more variety and greater reassurance about how the gluten-free food is prepared.
