Beautiful quiet pub with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Our dog loved the real fire and was given some free treats in front of it. Most impressively, they have a fantastic separate gluten free menu as well as a separate vegetarian/vegan menu, a combination which can be difficult to find in a city let alone a rural valley with no mobile service. Our lunch was prompt and absolutely delicious - we especially recommend the chili, soup of the day, and the lovely chips! Local ales and a couple of ciders on offer. There's also free WiFi and a small village shop for any essentials. I'd love to come back and stay here.
