Sunday afternoon
Having been before with my partner I decided to book for a pleasant surprise mainly because of the gluten free menu as my partner as celiac.
We arrived and was seated, it was busy.
My partner decided what she wanted and proceeded to the bar to order and pay.
I was then told the gluten free menu wasn't available, well most of it.
This then put my partner into a dilemma..
What can she eat..
There isn't much for gluten free at the best of time..
Well she ended up with a prawn cocktail starter which really wasn't appropriate on a cold damp Sunday afternoon.
I ordered the so called gammon and chips with a fried egg.
It arrived and I'd actually thought I'd ordered a children's portion.
Value you for money not in my eyes.
It ruined my little surprise for my partner and I.
