Newton Dee Café

Fantastic helpful staff. No gluten free options before scones at 11.20 on this visit. Salad with food was actually ‘slaw’ red cabbage,carrots. So not clear. One type of sandwich on offer. Cakes average.

Newton Dee is a favourite place for me & my family to visit. Just stepping out of the car gives me a feeling of peace which deepens as I walk around, past the pond & on to the cafe. The cafe itself is full of luscious aromas. Their soup is fresh & tasty and bread, oatcakes &/or rice cakes to accompany it. A meal in itself but it is worth keeping a space for their cakes and biscuits. Yummy. Gluten and dairy free is catered for. Have a look at their gifts and cards displayed there - some of them are made by the folks who live at Newton Dee. Don't leave without a visit to the shop next door - you will find some other fine things to buy, fruit, veg, cheeses, dried goods, sweets & much more. Maggs
