THOSE WITH CELIACS BEWARE My husband and I went to this restaurant specifically because they had gluten free pita bread. We told our server that my husband had celiacs disease and needed to make sure that our food was gluten free. We had the appetizer spread and it was delicious. We get served our entrees and I asked the waiters to make sure the pita was gluten free (I had a bad feeling) and they said it wasn’t. And the appetizer we were served that also had pita bread with it and was NOT gluten free. WE WERE SERVED REGULAR PITA BREAD AND MY HUSBAND ATE IT WHILE HAVING CELIACS DISEASE. They comped us the appetizer to “do us a favor”. Tomorrow’s my husband’s birthday and we have to spend it with the lining of his intestines burning because Nick’s Bistro staff did NOT take our gluten free request seriously. Super disappointed and will not be returning. Our waiter didn’t even have the decency to apologize to us. He was hiding the entire time and I was talking to someone whom I wasn’t even sure was the manager.

GF options. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. Waiter asked follow-up questions about my order once he knew I was gluten intolerant. Good was fast and delicious.
