Nicky's Place Bar & Pizza

I was looking for a good gluten free pizza since most places in the area use the same frozen pre made crust. I called and was told they make their own crust, I was so excited and ordered 70$ worth of food. It’s the same frozen gluten free crust as all the other places. It sure why they lied but I’m never going back obviously. So pissed.

Ever since I moved to East Haven good things have been happening. I opened up my own Graphics & Printing company on Main Street, I joined the Chamber, and NICKY'S PIZZA came to town. This place is rocking! My favorite is the Hot Honey Pizza. The crust is so crunchy too. The gluten free pizza is better than many others. Many places do not even offer this. Atmosphere is cool. Everyone is down to earth and I love that they have a pool table. This is a must visit and try.

We are in from out of town, ordered pick up. Ordered a gluten free pizza, 24 traditional Wings ( because i am gluten free) a side salad without croutons ( because i am gluten free, and told the girl that). Wings are NOT traditional, they are breaded and when called to ask was told “ they are just breaded with alittle corn starch and flour”. Also then told “if i didn’t want them with breading i should have asked that” … which i said i was gluten free and that’s why i was ordering traditional wings, how was one supposed to know there’s BREADING ON TRADITIONAL wings. Then had to call back because my salad had croutons in it and the chef had the audacity to say he knows he didn't put croutons in my salad. I wasnt going to leave a bad review on it until that. Picture for reference on my salad with croutons :) I asked for a refund but was told it was “ miscommunication” Will never be returning when we’re back in town.
