Nico Taverna

Nico is by far the best Italian restaurant in Windsor. I've never had a negative experience. The quality of ingredients and work behind the elaboration of their dishes are amazing. The presentation is also always on point. The only reason why I'm commenting today is because I've had one of the best steak tartare I've ever had!!! Side note: this place is great at dealing with celiac/gluten sensitivities!! Nico is a gem!!!

It was an amazing environment, all the staff was awesome, lots of smiles. The food was great. We tried different things from each menu option and enjoyed them all. Our favorite was the pasta dish and pistachio creme brulee. We will definitely go back again for another great evening. Lots of Gluten free options for those who have celiac disease as well. Even pasta and pizza. The only thought I would add for myself is I really wanted the steak, but what stopped me from getting it is the potatoes. Personally I don't eat blood products like marrow, blood sausage ect and I know many other people as well who do not, so if there was a way we could change that to mash without the marrow that would be awesome or another side even. Aside from that, we loved the whole evening, the food and the staff were all super friendly. Thanks for a nice evening 😊
