We went to Nicolinis with a big group from work for a family style meal (set menu with big shared plates). I hadn’t eaten Italian food since going DF and GF on doctor’s orders, and assumed an Italian meal without gluten or dairy would be deeply depressing. I was SO wrong. The un-battered calamari with olives, capers, charred pepper, herbs and risotto style rice was perfect, the lamb shank was to die for, and the GF puttanesca was incredible. The staff were super friendly, fast and attentive and the atmosphere was charming and warm. A beautiful and fun nught.
