Nina P's Cafe

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC!!! My waitress today had no clue what celiac or gluten was. I just ordered a salad with grilled chicken, no croutons. Asked that the chef changed their gloves, etc before preparing my food. Ate part of my salad before I saw the crouton UNDERNEATH the grilled chicken.

This is such a great restaurant, the food is delicious and the wait staff is so kind! My family and I went to Nina P's after a long day and the staff here blew us away. My mom has a gluten allergy and she told our waitress about it to make sure that what she ordered would not contain gluten. The waitress took her allergy EXTREMLY seriously, she made sure that there was no gluten contamination in her food by telling the chef to clean and cut everything fresh for my mom. It is so amazing when wait staff take food allergies so seriously! Even though our wait was long, it was well worth it due to the allergy accommodations being made. The food was delicious, I had the fish and it blew me away! I almost always end up with food to take home after eating at restaurants, but the food was so good I ate every bite.
