Nine Leaves

Have been here a lot. Was our go to place. Yet we’ll never go back. No avocados for the meals so had to choose alternatives. Cappuccino banged on table and sloshed everywhere without an apology or offer of tissues, cappuccino cup was held by servers hand right across the top of the cup: unhygienic especially in Covid times. One of us asked for gluten free bread toasted. Came un toasted and apparently couldn’t be toasted due to cross contamination and there was no more bread to make another. To top it off, the soup it came with was freezing. So the meal went wasted and all we were offered was a drink on them… which wouldn’t have come to the cost of the meal. Beyond disappointed this used to be a gem but has gone totally downhill.

Really good value and nice vibe. I had the avocado, sundried tomato, and humus wrap. I'm not sure what I'd change about it but I wasn't blown away by it. Great selection of gluten free cakes. Staff super friendly and helpful - I would have preferred it if they'd come to see how we were doing a bit more often but I'm a bit impatient/needy.
