I originally rated this place 5 stars, but that has changed to a solid 2 stars... I’ve been a loyal customer and have always loved this restaurant for their traditional pizza — it’s genuinely some of the best I’ve had. So when I saw they offered a Keto pizza, I was thrilled. As someone who’s been working hard to stay in ketosis, I was excited to enjoy a “Keto-friendly” treat from a place I already trusted. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious — no complaints about taste. But afterward, I looked up the nutritional information and ingredients of the crust, and my heart sank. Not only is the carb count way too high to be considered keto, but the ingredients include things like rice flour, tapioca starch, modified rice starch, and cane sugar — all of which are not keto-friendly by any means. Labeling this crust as “Keto” is completely misleading and, frankly, irresponsible. It’s like calling a pizza with cheese “vegan” or saying a dough made with wheat is “gluten-free.” Mislabeling food like this isn’t just disappointing — it’s unsafe. People with specific dietary needs rely on accuracy and transparency, and this kind of misleading branding can derail progress or, in more serious cases, impact someone’s health. I feel incredibly let down. I’ve supported and recommended this restaurant in the past, but this experience has made me question the trust I had. I truly hope they revisit how they label this product and begin prioritizing honesty — their customers deserve that.
