Only this location gets a 1-star. Ordered two meals. They ran out of rice noodles after the first order so our 2nd order had to be changed. I'm gluten free so then the young kid working told me I could choose zucchini noodles or udon noodles. Personal preference was udon, so I said that's fine. Then got to thinking... I've been GF for 15 years and never eaten udon noodles. So I asked if they were gluten free? Yes. Yes, they are gluten free. Ok. A few more minutes went by and my mind was turning...I don't think udon is GF. So now I asked to see the packaging. The kid went back into the managers office a little put off. They both came out and one showed me the nee pack of noodles. No ingredients. Just a clear package. Hmm. I wasn't satisfied. I said I needed to see the ingredients list. They rambled around a little bit and then the original kid came back to the front counter and said there had been a communication problem, udon was NOT gluten free. Omg I thought so! (My phone was way out in the car so I didn't have it on me to Google check.) Can you IMAGINE if I had eaten these damn udon noodles??? People think GF is a choice. NO it's not. It's a medical must-have. So, one-star because it's 2023 and your staff CLEARLY isn't trained in food allergens. Making up answers isn't a best practice. Now you know. So improve it going forward and let's hope you haven't actually hurt anyone up to now.
