Noodles and Rice Restaurant

A great Vietnamese restaurant in Devonport mall. Tiny entrance you could walk straight past but actually a large space inside. On the wall are pictures of all the multitude of different dishes of Vietnam celebrating the unique features of Vietnamese cuisine, although not all are on the menu. Use it as a reference to ask staff about the menu and learn about the culture. Menu is extensive. Pho, bun, pancakes (big and small), steamed and fried dumplings... The restaurant also covers a lot of different food for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free as well as meat/fish. Service for this informal place is really helpful and friendly. I was really impressed that I checked if something was gluten free and had that confirmed but the service staff had also checked all items we had ordered for our reference. Took mum (80) last week and she hasn't stopped talking about the place. Went again today for lunch and it was as delicious as last time. Will definitely go back.
