Norma Bistrot

Great service, the owner was an amazing host, she gave us amazing gluten free amuse bouche options. Great flavors, the only think to correct wast the temperature of the Risotto was a little bit could and the vanilla cookies in the tiramisu were a little bit dry, but great flavors.

We thoroughly enjoyed Norma Bistrot. We have been traveling Sicily for 3 months and Norma Bistrot is our favorite by far. On our first occassion we shared the Sea Bass Carpaccio with fennel, oranges, and pickled onions.... absolutely stupendous. For our mains we went with the sea bass and the Octopus. Wow! Very tender Octopus. We loved it so much that even though Noto wasn't on our agenda today, we found ourselves wanting to go back to Norma Bistrot...so we did! Today we had the duck pasta and the beef cheeks for our mains. Exceptional again. This is certainly not the cheapest place in Sicily to eat, in fact its pricey by Sicilian standards....and we would have happily paid double for our experience. Amazing food, lovely staff, cooks who want to know how their food is. Also, I'm gluten intolerant and have an allergy to eggs and the staff were amazing. Although we are preparing to leave Sicily, we will be back and Norma Bistrot will certainly be someplace we will return. Enjoy your delightful dining experience.
