We love North Italia. We regularly dine at the Phoenix and Irvine locations.
I was disappointed to see that the Ahi tartar was taken off the menu, however…I understand they were having issues with good suppliers. I appreciate that.
Tonight I tried their gluten-free funghi pizza in Phoenix.
Gluten-free pizza is a different dough and needs to be more crispy. I did send it back to crisp it up a bit…. however, that didn’t work so well.
I brought it home and put it in my cast-iron skillet on the stove and it turned out perfectly.
One point I would like to make is that not everyone likes truffle. I happen to like real truffles, not truffle oil, as was the case with this pizza, Please list all of your ingredients so people understand what they’re ordering.
