Best gluten free pizza in Houston! Highly recommend the margarita pizza with the gluten free crust and bomba style.

The shrimp scampi and pizza were great! Unfortunately the squid ink pasta wasn’t as good as expected. It’s great that they have calorie information on the menu and gluten free options. Their service was great tho! Great vibes and patios. Will come back and try other dishes.

I made a reservation at North Italia for August 18th at 8 PM to celebrate a special occasion with my partner. We arrived five minutes early but still had to wait to be seated. When we informed the hostess of our reservation, she directed us to another employee who was supposed to take us to our table. However, this employee told us to go back, saying the table wasn't for us and that someone else had been gotten there first. We were then left waiting again for a table to open up. When we were finally seated, we were placed in an extremely cramped area with no candlelight like the other tables had. Our backs were practically touching the people behind us, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. It took 18 minutes for someone to bring us water, and an additional 7 minutes to receive the rosé I had previously ordered. Although our waiter was kind enough to explain that the kitchen was busy, we still had to wait a while for our food. While the food was as delicious as always, everything was brought out almost simultaneously—within a span of 5 minutes between the appetizer, salad, and main course. On a positive note, they did handle my gluten allergy well. I only tipped 20% to our waiter on top of our $150 meal for two. I wish I could have tipped more, but the overall experience was not the best. Our waiter was good, but the attitude of the other staff members and the overall service made me regret choosing this location for what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. I wish I had gone to a different one instead.
