Not Your Average Joe's - Hyannis

I recently visited Not Your Average Joe's and was pleased to find a variety of gluten-free options on the menu. The food was tasty, but unfortunately, the prices didn't quite match the quality and portion sizes. I felt it was a bit overpriced for what we received. The service was just okay. Our server seemed friendly, but when we asked for soda refills, they never arrived. This was particularly surprising since we visited mid-afternoon and the restaurant wasn't busy. Overall, I'd give Not Your Average Joe's 3.5 stars out of 5. While I appreciated the gluten-free options and enjoyed the food, the value and service didn't quite live up to my expectations. Perhaps with some adjustments, I'd consider returning and bumping up my rating.

Our server was the best! Princess was gracious, kind, professional and truly a pleasure to meet. She made our dining experience awesome. The food was fabulous. Great gluten free options. Definitely worth giving them a try. Ask for Princess! :)

Our waitress Princess was absolutely amazing. She was very thoughtful and thorough and brought an immediate comfortability to the conversation. Ordering was very easy and she made sure my celiac/gluten safe meal was going to be taken care of properly by the kitchen staff. I’ve never been cross contaminated here, all the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful for dietary restrictions. Gluten-free dishes are delivered by separate waiters/waitresses to avoid cross contamination and all include a GF labeled toothpick. Gluten free menus are offered when you are seated as well as on their online website.
