Today was my birthday and as a celiac I have few options for sweets and celebratory confections. My husband works near here so he had seen the gf cakes and brought me for a dessert after a birthday dinner. I got the last gluten free lemon raspberry cake that was displayed in the case and squealed like a little girl when I saw it. Embarrassing. 😂 we got it bagged up and I was not even past the stadium before I was digging in the bag for my cake while my husband drove. My first bite into this cake brought tears to my eyes. It’s so dang amazing. I am a raspberry fanatic and the flavor just came through so strong I started crying. I haven’t had anything for my birthday cake in a few years so to have this tiny joy just made me cry. I promise I’m grown! lol so far so good as well on my tummy!
