First bite? I blacked out briefly. When I came to, I was weeping softly, whispering "Bellissimo" while making the Italian hand gesture so aggressively I nearly dislocated a finger. The flavors are so amazing that the burrito should come with a warning: "May cause spontaneous gesturing and irrational longing for gondola rides." Is it authentic? Gosh no. This thing is a culinary fever dream. But is it delicious? It's what I imagine would happen if lasagna and pizza fell in love on a Roman holiday, had a baby, and wrapped it in gluten.
