My family, good friends and I came to his roadhouse as we were driving the caravan because we were moving. Out of all the places we stayed it was by far the nicest. It was near the amazing Great Australian Bight which was wonderful to see. At the front of the fuel station was a large whale and the cool “next 88km” sign showing the animals ahead. We stayed in the caravan and that was fine, not to far from the station. Just in front of us was the old Nullarbor Roadhouse which was really interesting, we got some good photos and were amazed by what we saw. The food in the new Nullarbor Roadhouse was delicious, it was all fresh and so great. They even did gluten free. However some of the prices for the sugary snacks were a bit expensive. Another thing which was so nice were the bathrooms. Everything was clean and new, just great. Although you had to pay $1 for a 5 minute shower. You also need to be careful for snakes but you rarely see them. For the middle of nowhere it was very nice. If it was closer to where I lived I would go there all the time. It was great. I do suggest stopping here if you are driving along.
