I went here as a kid when I was a part of the “Stars of Tomorrow” program at the Cocoa Village Playhouse. I used to get the cake batter ice cream after every rehearsal and have been adamant all of these years that it was the best ice cream I ever had. Almost 15 years later, and I have since been diagnosed with celiac disease. I can no longer have the cake batter ice cream, but when I found out their Cha Cha’s Chicken sandwich could be made gluten-free, I was beyond excited.
The gluten-free version of this sandwich is the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had in my life - let alone for a gluten-free sandwich. The bread does NOT fall apart, has a great texture, and actually tastes *normal*? Fellow celiacs will know what I mean. As someone with highly symptomatic celiac disease who knows within 15 mins if I’ve been glutened, I’ve eaten at this restaurant 10+ times without a single reaction. 20/10 recommend. I LOVE this restaurant. OH, and they have a separate oven to cook GF orders in 😭❤️
