Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Bar

We went on a Sunday night and found a table outside by the beach. This restaurant gets 5 stars just for the location. You can hear the waves. There was reggae music from Esh x Schief and a laid-back, friendly crowd. We started with onion rings, crispy with a hint of coconut in the batter, and fried grouper bites that were golden, light, and full of flavor. Both came in casual baskets with sauces on the side. We split the famous Mahi-Mahi sandwich, flame-grilled and perfectly seasoned, served with pickles, onions, tartar sauce, and crispy fries. It was all great. To drink, we tried their Ocean Deck IPA: light-bodied with bright citrus, tropical fruit notes, and a clean finish, perfect for the beach setting. They don’t take reservations, but the service is quick, and both the upstairs A/C dining room and downstairs beachfront area are open late. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. Friendly people, good food, great music, and the sound of the surf. Recommended.

What a great place! Food was wonderful. Try their rasta sauce! I bought two bottles. I have gluten issues and was very pleased! We had the best server Shannon. Service is as important as the food. She made our first experience there a reason to come back.
