Ocean Paradise Restaurant & Bar

My husband and I celebrated my birthday tonight at Ocean Paradise. It was our first time eating there as I work in the area but we do not live in the area. I wanted to try a different restaurant and I am so happy I chose Ocean Paradise! I checked the reviews and the rating were good. I also have Celiac Disease and wanted to be sure the menu offered gluten free options. I was happy to know that the restaurant offers gluten free pasta, corn tortillas and most of the entrees can be made gluten free. Almost everything is made to order which eas good to hear. Once at the restaurant I ordered a Paradise White Sangria, super delicious! I also chose the Herb crusted salmon Oscar style which came with white rice and yummy zucchini/yellow squash. Everything was absolutely delicious. I must say that Marlen our waitress was top notch. Very friendly, personable, professional and knowledgeable of the menu and my gluten free concerns. I learned that her family owns the restaurant and her dad and uncle were the chefs in the kitchen that cooked our delicious meals. After our meals, we ordered creme Brulee for dessert, which was very good and a yummy little Sundae with a candle and sparkler was brought out to me, courtesy of the restaurant. I must say I love the atmosphere, the food was so good and the best part was the service. I would highly recommend giving Ocean Paradise a visit. We went to Ocean Paradise tonight for a celebration and loved it! Katie, the waitress, was so incredibly sweet. We had a lot of questions, and she was extremely patient with us and answered all of them! Everyone in our party also really enjoyed their food! I had the lobster pasta (gluten free) - the lobster was one of the best I have had especially in this area. The lobster was so sweet and tender and cooked to perfection! The gluten free pasta was cooked perfectly-which most places do not know how to do! My husband had the Connecticut style lobster roll, and he agreed the lobster was amazing. My daughter had the seafood platter, and she really enjoyed her meal as well. We had key lime pie for desert and loved it! Believe the reviews on this one-I am extremely picky.
