Ocean Beach Hotel

Our first time dining here and won't be the last. We had a perfect spot overlooking the harbour. We both had the sirloin steaks and the meal was perfect. Gluten Free options made it easy. Mash and vegetables and sauce to go with the steak were all gluten free. We'll be back!

The food is questionable. Gluten free spaghetti was very sweet had to add salt. Chicken was very dry, couldn’t eat it. The price of some of the beers were silly. Like Sydney night club prices. (See picture of very expensive beer). I lined up to order food. Staff literally ignored me (they did see me). I noticed another section of the bar was serving. So I went there to order my drinks and food. When I started to order, she says to me oh you have to order food at other bar (where I was originally standing). I WAS JUST STANDING THERE AND YOU LOOKED RIGHT AT ME. There was not a single brain cell present that day. Giving 2 stars is generous The food came out surprisingly fast. Which was good. Also watch out for the seagulls, they have evolved and they are smarter then you think. If you turn your back. Your food is theirs.
