Ocean Blue Fish Bar Tycroes

Picture the scene, my good lady wife and I are getting on in age, but don't tell the wife 🙂 on the way to pick up our prescriptions we passed the Ocean blue fish bar, for no reason what so ever my wife said,"Gluten free fish and chips" "I said what!! I've never heard anything like it in all my born days, I haven't had fish and chips since I was 18, I'm now nearly 70, we both decided not to eat fried food so we could live a longer life with clean arteries that don't resemble the inside of a car tyre. My wife went online checked out the cooking of said items and said,"wow, no lard, no dripping, shall we have some between us. Covid rules applied, so on with the mask, hands sanitized in I went, three people infront of me, with a good 2m gap between us, I confirmed with the serving staff that the food was definitely gluten free, ordered our fish and chips then was given a beeper and asked to wait in the car which I thought was brilliant, minimising the risk of catching or spreading infection on to others. Beeper told us come and collect, it was properly boxed and off we went, I have to say the food was delicious, the lightness of batter, nothing dripping in oil, beautiful. Would recommend to all.
