Oceans

Food is good, but a bit expensive. Place has a clean look, artful and tastefully decorated. Tables not too close to each other, however the volume in the place can make conversation a bit difficult. The half-round booth Tables look cozy, but our group (6 people) were seated at s normal round table. We were there for a birthday, and the presentation of the celebratory dessert (molten chocolate cake) was nice, but fairly middle of the road. The cake was very good. I had the cauliflower "steak" (I know, it's a seafood place, but did I mention the prices?) but it was well prepared, seasoned, and presented. The house bread was very good. One of our group maintains a gluten-free diet, and they were accommodated with GF bread! The butter served with the bread was really delicious (I know, I may be weird, but I like butter!)

First time dining here tonight. Had dinner at the bar and am gluten sensitive. Martin, our bartender and server, was accommodating and knowledgable about the menu and very attentive to my dietary restrictions. The food was wonderful and the room was beautiful. But it was Martin who made the night spectacular.
