Oh!LaLa Konoba Pizzeria

We had a wide range of gluten-free options which was reassuring for dad, who has Coeliac disease. Sara, our waitress showed such kindness and professionalism in helping to surgically remove the spine from my mum’s bream. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an authentic konoba experience in the middle of roman ruins.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF COELIAC!! I went here and asked if they did gluten free food. She said they will sort something for me and that I could have fish/salad/risotto. I was disappointed but ate here anyway as she told me a lot of places around are not gluten free. I chose the risotto and double checked with the waiter to make sure it was gluten free to which be assured me it was. I didn't fully enjoy the meal and only ate half but thank God I did!! Around two hours later I was violently vomiting approximately 20 times over the space of 45 minutes and even burst small blood vessels around my eyes and neck from vomiting which are still marked two days later. My stomach went into a complete spasm and cramp and I couldn't even have water without getting sick again. A full gluten reaction and it was from the risotto!! Very very traumatising experience.
