Oishi Sushi Bar

Great local sushi spot. Fresh food, nice atmosphere, very clean with a large menu. They run great specials and I have ate in and ordered take out. Both pleasant experiences and great food. They also have gluten free soy sauce for people who maybe curious. This place is worth a visit.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch after craving sushi the night before. We arrived around 1:30 on a Friday afternoon, and surprisingly, the place was pretty empty. This actually made for a really nice, quiet atmosphere, so it was great! The service was excellent. It seems like the restaurant is usually run by a small two-person team, so just keep that in mind if you visit during a busier time. That said, everything was handled smoothly and with care. We called ahead to check if they had gluten-free soy sauce, and they do! The waitress even double-checked ingredients with me to ensure I had a fully gluten-free experience, which I really appreciated. The food was fresh and delicious. Overall, a great experience—we’ll definitely be back!
