Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

Resently found out I was diabetic so I asked if they had anything gluten free. They do indeed. So I had them make a califlour crust, with mozzarella cheese, avocado, mushroomed and applewood smoked chicken! Fantastic! Place was very clean and smelled great!

I come to Rock Springs about every other or third month. We’ve been looking for a place to get some lunch and this place was actually really great! It’s got a varied menu so most people should be able to find something. But on to the food! I always order a pepperoni pizza as a baseline when trying a new pizza place. I also order thin crust lately because I’ve started to like it more in my senile adjacent years. This smelled great, always an important part of the food. It looked great! The only problem was I ordered normal gluten laden pizza, and a friend ordered gluten free. The boxes weren’t clearly labeled and she picked wrong. So I had a gluten free pizza. Guess what? I couldn’t even tell and it was still great! Turns out I like gluten free pizza. Who knew? My other friends tasted it and said it wasn’t good. But they’re wrong. :) I’ve had enough pizza to know when I don’t like pizza, and I liked this. My two picky toddlers also ate this pizza as leftovers so you KNOW it’s objectively good. Will I get it again? Yes!! Will I get gluten free again? Probably not. But it definitely wasn’t a penalty pizza. Would I order this pizza over other chains? Actually, yes, yes I would. It was fantastic.
