Old House Bar & Restaurant

Went to The Old House for the first time on Mother's Day, had the roasted trio which was amazing! Followed by the brownie, and others had the sponge cake. The presentation of all of the food was great, the staff were all very helpful and attentive. Someone in the group was gluten free, the team were very knowledgeable and ensured her requirements were accommodated for. Overall a lovely experience, and would recommend a visit, especially for a Sunday roast!

We held my daughters baby shower there on 30th January 2022. Although we got the room complimentary which was kind, I have a few pointers for future events for them. 1: no toilet roll or hand soap in the ladies toilet 2: the bar was unmanned for the majority of the time 3: advised by the chef the lamb kofo’s only had a little bit of flour in, to a coeliac. Maybe some re education is in order.
